!veon (born Iveon R. Sprangle: 27 May 1989) is an artist noted for his lyrical creativity and dynamic vocals. Evolving from the depths of Goldsboro, North Carolina; Iveon utilized music as a vessel to interpret his point of view of the world in which he lived.
Despite being one of the top athletes in the state of North Carolina during High School; Iveon realized that his talent in sports was not one of sheer passion. He went on to receive his B.A in Mass Communications and Music from Winston-Salem State University. During his collegiate tenure, he won a national radio PSA award, regarding, freedom of speech. He is also a recipient of the semifinalist award of the international songwriting competition in 2015.
The humble and reserved soul draws his inspiration from past experiences and people that he has encountered throughout his life. He considers artists such as Lauryn Hill, Drake, Kanye West, T-Pain, and Ty Dolla $ign influences of his raw and thought-provoking style of music, growing up as a shy kid who was once afraid to embrace his talent and love of music, he believes his art form is “something that brings out a different side of him, similar to an alter-ego.”
Iveon currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. He has opened a concert for DJ Drama and has Co-written songs for notable artists such as Jhonni Blaze. Iveon continues to remain resilient in his endeavors for he knows that anything worth having is worth working hard for.
