A native of Goldsboro, NC, a graduate of Goldsboro High and North Carolina A&T- Kay-Tee keeps our mid-days moving with her upbeat and enthusiastic personality. Kay-Tee is the daughter of Goldsboro natives Keiana “KiKi” Taylor-Carraway and Monquil “Little” Parks. Kay-Tee found her true love for journalism her senior year at Goldsboro High. By the time she enrolled at NC A&T, she knew where she was headed. Her sophomore year, Kay-Tee was on-air during the nightly syndicated “Sheryl Underwood” show on her WNAA 90.1 FM and eventually moved up to midday’s. Four months post-graduation, Kay-Tee was hired for Curtis Media Group-Raleigh. Kay-Tee has been with 92.7 JAMZ Goldsboro for four years of the 5 years she’s been with CMG. She keeps our listeners informed on the latest music trends and the hottest entertainment news.
In 2021, Kay-Tee was promoted to Programming Talent. Working hands on with the Station Manager, Bryce Wilson and a national consultant. She has been able to take a deeper look into the radio programming world with their guidance.
In early 2022, Kay-Tee became a voice-over artist for a broadcast/media production company, JustSaySpots, voicing commercials for TV and radio across the country. She was also featured as a “Women to Watch” feature for AllAccess.com, highlighting her success thus far on her radio journey. Later she was featured in VoyageRaleigh Magazine as an “Inspiring Stories” feature.
What motivates Kay-Tee? It’s her love for family and community. When not broadcasting from the studio, you’ll most likely find Kay-Tee out in the community, supporting our local schools, churches, and events, “mom”-ing – and of course, trying to find that perfect pair of shoes!
She every show with the motto she lives by, “Success is a journey, NOT a destination!”
