THE HISTORY
Juneteenth, also known as Independence Day or Freedom Day, is a holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the abolition of slavery.

A native of Goldsboro, NC, a graduate of Goldsboro High and North Carolina A&T- Kay-Tee keeps our mid-days moving with her upbeat and enthusiastic personality.
Ricco Barrino
Ricco Barrino was born in High Point, NC. He began his music career singing at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where his family members taught him how to lead a choir. His music is CROSS GENERATIONAL. The compositions and lyrics are fun, free-flowing, and memorable.

AAG Roc
A.A.G Roc is a 32-year-old Hip-Hop artist born in Goldsboro, NC. He started his music journey five years ago. He started to take the professional approach in 2021.
He is currently signed to Certified Official Music. Some of his hit records are “Hit Different, “Poppin”, and his latest single “Drako”.

Tim Pounds
Tim Pounds was born in Queens, NY, and raised in Goldsboro NC the oldest of 6 children. He was a part of the first graduating class of Spring Creek High School in 2003. In pursuit of a dream to play college basketball he attended and graduated from the Hun School of Princeton in NJ in 2004. From there he went to play Division 1 basketball at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. While in college Tim came to faith in Christ and developed a love for the arts. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts and hit the ground running. He went on performing and using the gift of music to minister to young people all over the Country. His debut album was released in 2012 entitled Focused on Eternity and several singles and mixtapes over the years. After a long hiatus, Tim has returned to finish what he started and inspire the world through his music.

Tim Dortch
Timothy Elijah Dortch is the son of Pastors Timothy L. and Terri Dortch. He is 18 years old and a 2023 High School graduate from Wayne School of Engineering. He plans to attend Wayne Community College for 2 years to receive his Associate in Science degree and then transfer to a University to major in Engineering. He enjoys singing with his church choir, surrounding churches, and more recently, at local events.
Victoria Ruffin-Atkins
Mrs. Victoria Ruffin-Atkins is a Goldsboro High School Graduate. She is an Honor Graduate of Fayetteville State University with a B.A. in Music Education. She has her Masters in Adult Education from Central Michigan University.
Triple D Dance Studio
The Triple D Dance Team was officially established in March of 2018 by Kimberly McGuire. This is the first Majorette Dance Studio in Wayne County and it currently has 65 youth, ages 5-18. The dancers are from Wayne, Lenoir, Cumberland, Greene County and the State of Virginia.

She began singing at an early age, idolizing the late great Whitney Houston. She immediately realized the way music made people feel, and she wanted to be a part of that magnificent feeling,
J.Renee couldn’t deny her destiny was to become a star. So she set out to concur her dream. Later she would develop a talent for writing music and a style that gave her an identity. She’s a triple threat amongst giants in the music business. J.Renee has been named the go-to opening act for several national artists on several occasions, hosted many events, and performed at several venues.
